Certified Leadership Professional (CLP) designation

New CLP Designee Requirements:
Successfully complete all 17 courses and quizzes in the Certified Leadership Program. Courses can be completed at a live event or as self-study.
The CLP designation must be renewed every two years.
CLP Renewal Requirements:
Renewing your CLP designation requires the completion of eight hours of CLP Renewal or CLP-A IAIP education courses taken within the two years after the initial application or previous renewal application. Qualifying renewal IAIP education courses are listed on the CLP Renewal application. Download the CLP Renewal application.
Advanced Certified Leadership Professional (CLP-A) designation
Experienced managers, supervisors, and leaders should put an emphasis on continuous learning to further develop and hone their leadership skills. Earn the 40 hour Advanced Certified Leadership Professional (CLP-A)

New CLP-A Designee Requirements:
Applicants must hold an active CLP designation.
Successfully complete 10 courses (six core and four elective) and quizzes in the Advanced Certified Leadership Program. Courses can be completed at a live event (with a student guide) or by purchasing the On Demand course in our LMS.
The CLP-A designation must be renewed every two years.
CLP-A Renewal Requirements:
Eight hours of Advanced CLP courses are required to renew the CLP-A designation. The Advanced CLP courses used for renewing the CLP-A designation must be courses you have not previously used on a previous designation application. A passing score of 80% is required for each course quiz. Download the CLP-A Renewal Application.
A late fee will apply if the renewal application is submitted after the designation renewal date. CLP-A renewal applications will be accepted up to one year past renewal date deadline. After one year, the CLP-A will be forfeited until renewal requirement is met and late fee paid. Please allow two weeks to process your designation or renewal application. Request a "read receipt" for confirmation that your application was received.
Associate in Client Relations (ACR) designation

Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CIIP) designation Earning the Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CIIP) designation with IAIP indicates that you are dedicated to increasing your knowledge and achieving career growth. Download the CIIP application. CIIP Requirements: Current IAIP Membership for three or more continuous years Employment in insurance industry for a minimum of five years Completion of 16 hours of IAIP education Completion of a non-association industry educational program or designation
IAIP membership held continuously for the last three years with IAIP dues paid for the year application submitted
Completion of six hours of education thatconsists of two hours of IAIP Association Development programmingand four hours of any of the following: Industry sponsored CE, I CAN! Series, Career Development, CLP, or CLP-A. This six hours of education must be taken within the last three years.
Late renewals are accepted up to one year past renewal due date for an additional $10 late fee. If a renewal application is not submitted within that year, the designation will be forfeited and you will need to reapply.
Diversified Advanced Education (DAE) designation
Attaining the Diversified Advanced Education (DAE) with IAIP can distinguish you from other insurance professionals. The DAE designation recognizes leadership involvement, education obtained and commitment to IAIP by participation

DAE Requirements:
Hold CIIP or CPIW/M Designation for minimum of three years. CIIP Designation must remain active to renew DAE designation
Current IAIP member with dues paid for the fiscal year in which application is made
Meet Industry Education and IAIP Education, Leadership and Participation standards
Completion of one of IAIP's Ethics programs OR state certified Ethics program
DAE Renewal requirements:
Maintain continuous IAIP membership over the past five years with IAIP dues paid for year application submitted
Meet industry education, designation or publication requirements
Completion of twelve hours of IAIP education
Participation in IAIP leadership and events
Completion of one of IAIP's Ethics programs OR state certified Ethics program
The CIIP designation must remain active to renew the DAE designation
