Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals

February 14 at 8:58 AM

The Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals together with the Champlain Valley Association of Insurance Professionals held a joint meeting in November 2018. This evening dinner event has been a long standing tradition between the two Associations. They were honored to share the evening with the Commissioner of Insurance, Michael Pieciak, who addressed trending insurance concerns in the State of Vermont.

The Associations invited guests from the Vermont Foodbank as the organization was the recipient of the proceeds from the evening which brought in 272 pounds of non-perishable items (the equivalent of 226 meals) which surpassed last years’ donations of 235 pounds. Monetary donations were also collected, and we are proud to say we collected $1,366.26. A check was presented to the Vermont Foodbank recently by Elizabeth Harlow, President Champlain Valley Association of Insurance Professionals and Paula Clark, President – Elect, Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals.

“A wholehearted thank you to the Vermont Association of Insurance Professionals and the Champlain Valley Association of Insurance Professionals for generously supporting our neighbors facing hunger,” says Vermont Foodbank CEO, John Sayles. “Each year, they come together to make a difference for people in need and what they do truly changes lives. On behalf of the 153,000 people throughout Vermont who we serve, thank you!”
