We have used the wearables as  local advertisement and pride of IAIP.  We ordered the jackets (as seen in group photo) from Lands End in WI, and they did the embroidery for us, too. We didn’t do as  fundraiser, we only charged cost because we thought it was important for our local members to have IAIP logo wear.  Average cost per jacket was around $35-$40

Something else we have done at a local level: There is a gentleman in our area who is a disabled  vet who does embroidery work. We brought the IAIP logo to him for setup. Then, each member can buy their own piece of clothing, and bring it to him to embroider. The cost is minimal – about  $6 per item! The benefit to doing this is each member can pick their own style, size, color  of wearable. We encouraged members to do this, because then it would be something they would really wear. The hot pink nylon running jacket is an example of this.

We encourage members to wear their IAIP wearables to community events, meetings, out and about. Amazing how many people will ask about IAIP based on  seeing the wearables.  We are walking advertisements for our association.

A fundraiser was created by the MO council for the Region V 2017 Conference. We promoted on Region V facebook and Natl blast email.
