Lara L. Miller wrote on the Council: Georgia wall: Insurance Professionals of Rome/Floyd, an association of IAIP’s Georgia Council, hosted a lunch-time Continuing Education Class on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Bella Roma Restaurant in Rome, GA. The instruction was provide by CAMCO Clean. We had 18 class participants attending from Brown & Brown Insurance, Talley Insurance Services, Terry Simmons State Farm Insurance, Alfa Insurance, Cornerstone Insurance, Rome Cleaners, ServiceMaster by Twins, and Garner and Glover Company…..all from Rome, GA. Delicious pizza and salads flowed freely. J. R. McWhorter, our certified instructor from CAMCO Clean, was entertaining and very informative with his own twist on Drying Principles. After the CE sign-up sheets were finalized, Hannah Chambley, President Rome/Floyd, passed around IAIP membership applications with a special invite for those who were not current IAIP members. Seven out of eight Rome/Floyd members were present: Barbara Hill, Sonja Salmon, Jenny Ward, Margaret Little, Hannah Chambley, Missy Alford and Ann Elrod. Two door prizes were given away by Camco Clean: (First Prize) A day with four rooms of professional cleaning in one’s home or office, including flooring, and (Second Prize) Dinner for Two at a favorite restaurant including two tickets for a local movie theater including drinks and snacks. This CE class was a success with several positive contacts from feedback……while we connected members (and potential members) and built upon our careers. It was great to have some of the male attendees asking questions about IAIP. Now that’s the way to have lunch!

I am hitting the campaign trails and running hard. I'm super passionate about Georgia and Region III. I've enjoyed serving the past two years as Assistant to Betty Curry. She is an awesome mentor. I look forward to share my strategies in Knoxville. It makes me so happy to know I have the support of the Georgia Council going into this in Knoxville. I'm here for you anytime by phone, email, text, social media, etc. Kimberly 770-337-0589 Social media: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google + and many more.
